Great holidays, great activities for our Slum Soka - January 2023

During the great Kenyan holidays, our young people from Slum Soka had a lot of activities in our center and at Isaac Pitch.

Between mid-November and mid-January, our education and training center hosted daily artistic, social and educational activities:

- 4 weekly sessions of board games gathering together around thirty children thanks to Daddy, the manager of our center

- 4 weekly art classes with more than 20 young people, guided by our teacher and artist, Kelvin

- 3 weekly theater rehearsals for our young theater troupe (21 young people)

- 1 weekly dance class runned by Caren

- 1 weekly homework help session monitored by Caren and Frida

- our monthly female hygiene education program and distribution of reusable sanitary napkins

- theater performances and our first artistic exhibition

At the same time, on Isaac Pitch, football and rugby training for girls and boys, then tournaments with other teams of Kibera.

With KBS / Slum Soka, everybody is busy!
